Situated along the historic Pacific Coast Highway, Orange County’s unique coastal communities are rife with sites that are both historical and just plain beautiful. Today’s tour will take you down the PCH in a cool “woodie style” bus for a glimpse of Surf City past and present.
A knowledgeable guide will accompany you and will point out the hotspots and history of the area. Huntington is the official “Surf City USA” and home to numerous surf, skate and volleyball competitions throughout the Spring and Summer seasons. After cruising through Surf City, you will journey back to a more simple time in Newport Beach and the Balboa Peninsula. Here you will have free time to meander along the water-side boardwalks and window shop in the quaint shops that line its streets. From here you will venture down the historic ocean-side highway and enjoy the magnificent views that Southern California and the Pacific Coast have to offer before returning back to the Hotel.

Gardens, fountains, and reflecting pools compliment the splendor of the pavilions, which showcase paintings; drawings; sculptures; illuminated manuscripts; and French, European and American photographs. The astonishing permanent collection includes Van Gogh’s Irises, as well as paintings and drawings by Rembrandt, Monet, Manet, Renoir and Cézanne.
